Oppo already started ColorOS 14 internal beta update for Oppo Find X6 Pro, Fold N2, N2 Flip, and Oneplus 11. As you may know, the ColorOS update also will provide for Oneplus users in China.
ColorOS 14 Update
ColorOS 14 is the latest version of the custom Android-based operating system developed for Oppo and Oneplus smartphones and it will be based on Android 14 for now, android 14 is also in beta testing, recently Android 14 Beta 4 was released by Google, and Android 14 official version will also available at the starting of September 2023. As I told you before internal beta testing already started for Oppo and Oneplus users after internal beta testing it will be available for all users in beta form and it can be available after the release Android 14 official version.
Recently ColorOS team tested a beta update in Oppo Fold N2 flip and I have some screenshots you can check below. ColorOS 14 Introduces several new features and improvements in system performance, dark mode, privacy and security, smart assistant, navigation gestures, gaming Enhancements, and lots of customization options.

How to install beta Update
- Open setting application
- Scroll up and find out about device
- Tap on About device
- Type on software update
- Tab on setting symbol on the top right corner
- You will show ColorOS 14 Beta form
- fill your Email ID and Apply for Beta Program
- You will get an update when your form approved
ColorOS 14 Beta Update has already been installed in Oppo Fold You can see clearly in the above picture and in this image, you can see the Chinese language because Oppo is a Chinese company, and once this testing is complete it will provide for every user.
Conclusion
The Android 14 official version will release in the first week of September 2023 and then the ColorOS team will fix a launch event on that launch event they will provide us with all information about ColorOS 14 New features, device list, and ColorOS 14 beta update roadmap.
Should we install beta Update?
If you don’t know about beta updates then I can explain to you, the beta update is only for beta Testors because the beta update will get lots of bug-like age heating issues, charging issues, phone lagging, and some applications also can’t work properly, so I can’t personally recommend you because the beta update is fulfilled with bugs.
After the release beta update Oppo team will provide us every month new update with a new security patch with a bug fix so after installing the beta update you will get a new update every month and that update will become a bug fix update in this way it will take 3 to 4 month and your phone becomes the official version. ColorOS 14 update will provide with Android 14 official version which means we will get all Android 14 features also because it will be based on Android 14.
