What’s the beta version
The beta version is only for beta testers. I can’t recommend you should install any beta version on your device because after installing the beta version on your device, you can get in trouble. You need to face many kinds of problems like as slow charging issues, battery draining problems, screen legging, and some minor bugs also but don’t worry you will get a new security patch update every month. That update will become a bug-fix update.
Slowly-slowly your phone will become a stable version of Android 14 and OxygenOS 14 if you want directly install OxygenOS 14 official version then you need to wait 3-4 months because the official version will be released after 3 to 4 months later after the release of the beta version.

How to update in beta version
We do not recommend updating your device to the beta version if you do have not any experience in software development if you expect to use the device as a daily driver then you cannot because I told you before that you will get the major type of bugs in your device after update in beta version.
- Open settings application
- Find out about the device
- Select Software update
- Tap on three dots top right corner
- select Beta version
- You need to fill up a beta form
- After that, you need to apply for the beta program
- You will get OxygenOS 14 Update within 24 hours
NOTE – While updating your device, your phone battery needs to charge more than 50%, before updating your phone to the beta version you need to update all applications from Play Store or App Store because after installing the beta version some applications will not work properly and maybe you can’t install or update any application from the Play Store.
Before installing the beta version you need to backup all your data in Google Drive because after installing OxygenOS 14 Update your personal data can erase.
